Hi This Is Steffy "The Shorkie Lady" from Priceless Pups and
where the Breed known as the Shorkie Originated over 20 yrs
ago right here in the United States. I am so proud of Our
Accomplishments with in the Shorkie breed and welcome you to
embark upon the journey with us. In 2006 I founded the
Shorkie Club Of America to help inform people all over the
world about what a shorkie is. From the Shorkie
"STANDARD" and "LOOK" to its characteristics and personality
we have documented it all over 20 yrs and are know WORLD
RENOWNED for being the #1 Shorkie educators in the world.
The Shorkie Club Of America has very strict guidelines that
all Shorkie breeders must adhere to. We only accept
HOME BREEDERS and testing of all breeding parents OFA, CERF,
BILE ACID must be do0ne with test results submitted and
PASSED prior to having any adults registered for breeding in
the . Also each breeder may only qualify as a SCA
member once they have passed a complete HOME inspection my a
THIRD PARTY VET! .. so all in all we are the only breed club
that existis for the Shorkie in the World and who are
dedicated to the ethical development of the breed.
You will see on many websites HYBRID vigor
and breeders embracing the Nonsense THAT A mix breed is
HEALTHIER than a pure bred. WELL FOLKS!!! its all
RUBBISH! and unless people begin to do the genetic testing
on the dogs they are breeding how do they know what they are
producing. The same breeders will tell you "they have not
noticed any ISSUES in the lines they breed" Well let me tell
you .. that is the biggest lie of all. Any one that
has been breeding for any amount of time will tell you that
they have encountered things in the lines. No lineage
of DOG is flaw free. So BUYER BEWARE when websites
boast the HYBRID VIGOR theory and are proud of it.
